语用失误是跨文化交际失败的原因之一,该文重点研究中国人在用英语进行跨文化交际中实现其言语行为时出现的语用失误,作者从语用-语言失误和社交-语言失误两方面进行了具体地探讨,分析了在跨文化交际中产生语用失误的主要原因。最后,讨论了语用失误的研究对英语教学的启示。

Pragmatic Failure in Intercultural Communication

Pragmatic failure is one reason that leads to the communication failure in intercultural communication.This present paper would focus on the English pragmatic failure Chinese make during the intercultural communication.From the perspective of pragmatic-linguistic failure and socio-pragmatic failure,author makes a deep study on pragmatic failures,analyzing the main causes of pragmatic failure in intercultural communication,at last,putting forth some suggestions to English teaching.
