| Abstract: | It is not unusual for people to show unbalance ability between left hand and right hand. This phenomenon is called slanting advantage in psychology.This paper tries to make a scientific research on slanting advantage in basketball through a lot of data, and to analyze factors to form slanting advantage. Results suggest that factors to form slanting advantage are very coplicated, that slanting advantage can lead to many negative influence to development of technique. Effective method to overcome is to apply theory of cross education from psychology (a theory to make skill of strong hand move to weak hand) to basketball skill training.This paper also give some examples of exercise to promote skill of strong hand move to weak hand. |
