中西方的文化认知差异及对社会发展的影响

人类对文化的认知，首先是从狭义文化即心态文化开始的。人类对心态文化即精神文化的认知，又源于人类对自身的认知。如果说文化结构的其他方面的特性是变化的，那么，精神文化一旦形成，则是稳定的，即使有变化，也是非常缓慢的。同时，文化的其他方面及其变化，总是源于精神文化，并受其影响，东西方社会和文化的种种差异，都可以从这种差异中找到根据。

Human beings' cognition of culture first initiated from the narrow-sensed culture, or mentality culture, whereas their cognition of mentality culture, or spiritual culture, originated from that to human beings themselves. Contrary to the features in other aspects of the cultural structure, which are changing, the spiritual culture, once formed, is deep-rooted. Changes are slow, if there is any. Meanwhile, the other aspects of culture, and their changes, invariably originate from the spiritual culture and are subjected to its influence. All the social and cultural differences between the East and the West would stem from this difference.
