| Abstract: | Idiom is the Long-lasting practical production of human being, reflecting its cultural heritage. English idioms, the gems of the language, are heavily loaded with the cultural connotation. This paper is to explore the close connections between the English idioms' origins and their cultural feature in an attempt to have a better understanding of them. |
