On the Cultivation of Reading Ability in English - learning

In this article, the importance of the cultivation of reading skills in English learning and teaching is discussed in detail. It is pointed out that reading makes us expose to the vast English material, opens ways to western world, give us linguistic sense and self - studying ability. The enhancement of comprehensive ability in English needs the training of reading ability, writing ability as well as listening and speaking ability, the first of which is the basis.
