| Abstract: | On the basis of sociological theories of Talcott Parsons, it is essential for an organization to have a series of functions: pattern-maintaining, adapting, conducting and arranging as well. An organization of a college or a university is multi-functional and pursues many values and has varied inner paradoxes. At last, this paper puts forward some propositions about its operation. |
