Probe into Continuing Education for Peasants in China

To realize the modernization of agriculture industry,millions of peasants in China need to more training and education on agriculture science and working skills.The paper proposes that the government set up sound supporting mechanism to ensure that peasants are provided with multi-level and varied continuing education and training.It also recommends combing systematic education with short-term skills training,arguing that hands on experience and book knowledge are both important.While scientific talents should be encouraged to be devoted to agricultural development,the quality of peasants as a whole should be improved.
