| 摘 要： | 现代大学要培养的并不只是专业技术人员，而应是具有健全人格，全面发展的高素质人才，为此，现代大学的功能必须重新定位，素质教育应成为现代大学功能的核心，并对素质教育在大学教育中占核心地位的原因，必要性及改革方向作了论述。

| Abstract: | The function of higher education of modern age is to train personnel not only with specialized technics but also with perfect personality,and all-roundedly developed high quality.Therefore,the function of higher education must be redefined.This paper claims that quality education should be the core of higher education,and elucidates both the reasons and necessity for its being the core as well as its reform trend. |
