论现代公益事业与传统慈善的关系

现代公益事业发源于传统慈善,是传统慈善事业在现代社会条件下的创新和发展,具有组织化、专业化、职业化、社会化、制度化、常规化、规模化、理性化、功能多元化等新特点。我国正处于从传统社会向现代社会的转型期,这就导致了中国传统慈善与现代公益共存和冲突的现象。因此,要发展现代公益事业,就要推动传统慈善向现代公益的转换。

The modern public welfare undertakings is originated in traditional charity, have achieved innovation and development under the condition of modern society, demonstrates its new features such as organization, specialization, professionalization, socialization and institutionalization, routinization, enlarged scale, rationalization, functional diversity. Our country is currently in the midst of a transition from traditional society to modern society, which leads to a phenomenon of the coexistence and conflict between traditional Chinese charity and modern public welfare undertakings. Therefore, in order to develop the modern public welfare undertakings, the traditional charity should be promoted to convert into the modern public welfare undertakings.
