中西文化差异对文学作品翻译的影响与对策探讨

翻译是运用一种语言把另一种语言所表达的内容和意义准确而完整地重新表达出来的语言活动。由于地理环境、社会历史、文化传统等的影响，英汉两种语言之间存在着很大的差异，这也成了英汉互译的最大障碍。作为译者，在翻译过程中应尽量减少文化差异对作品翻译带来的影响，如何处理源语和译入语的文化差异是一个亟待解决的难题。

Translation Strategy and Influence of Cultural Differences Between West and East to the Literary Translation

Translation is a kind of language activity that the translator uses one language to express the content and sig- nificance of another language accurately and completely. However, with the influence of the geographical environment, the social history and cultural tradition, there are many differences between English and Chinese, which has become the biggest obstacle in E-C translation. Therefore, the translator should try to reduce the impact of cultural differences on translation works in process of translation. How to deal with the cultural difference between source language and target language is a problem to be solved.
