Research on Counter-attack Tactics of the Top 8 Teams in Russia World Cup

Fra nce,the event ua l w in ner of the World Cup in Russia,wa s one of the qu intessent ia l counterattack players.As the highest level game in the world,each World Cup has different techniques and tactics to win the f inal championship.The dominant tactic at the World Cup in Russia is counterattack.In this paper,the methods of documentary,video observation and mathematical statistics are used to analyze the tactics of the 8 teams in the 38 matches of the World Cup,and summarize the characteristics of the defensive tactics used by the 8 teams in the matches,so as to provide theoretical reference for the training and development of football in China.
