| Abstract: | Presupposition is one of the important issues in pragmatics.Three opinions on its understanding exist in the field of linguistics.This paper analyzes the two features of presupposition: appropriateness of felicity and mutual knowledge,discusses the relationship between pragmatic presupposition and context and how to appropriately express and understand the meaning of utterances. |
