| Abstract: | On the basis of the contextual correlates of adaptability,the paper discusses the contextual adaptation in translating movie titles from English to Chinese,i.e.,linguistic context and communicative context adaptation. It points out that the contextual correlations of adaptability can account for movie titles translation.It plays an important role in movie titles translation. |
