| Abstract: | From the perspective of compiling patterns,adoption of lexicons,and translation of linguistic terms,this thesis analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of three compiled English-Chinese linguistic dictionaries in the literature.We initiate five principles for Chinese translation of English linguistics terms covering accuracy,comprehensiveness,agreement,mutual complementariness,and distinction. |
