| 摘 要： | 运用文献资料查阅、田野考察等方法，对新化农村群众武术进行了考察。20世纪80年代，当地农村群众武术开展比较好，而步入90年代后，其开展则处于低迷。通过分析，得出：1）本土武术与生产力发展的相适应、国家对民间武术的挖掘与倡导、当地自身深刻的武术文化底蕴是新化农村群众武术在80年代开展轰轰烈烈的主要因素；2）本土武术发展环境受到挑战、村民思想观念改变与经济发展的不和谐、国家武术发展政策重心的偏离、本土文化自身发展的滞后以及农村学校武术教育的欠缺，是当地农村群众武术在90年代后逐渐淡化的主要原因。
