The Study of Critical Internship Incidents and Professional Growth of Student Teachers

Critical internship incidents are the important incidents that the student teachers experienced and created during the educational practice. They will have significant impacts on student teachers＇ educational concepts, professional altitude and professional behaviors. This article studies the professional growth process of student teachers from the perspective of critical internship incidents. The author analyzes the features of critical internship incidents and impacts on student teachers＇ professional development by using qualitative research method, and thus obtains a rich interpretative understanding on critical internship incidents created by student teachers and their professional growth process.
