OAIS and Its Applications in Digital Libraries

An OAIS system is an unity including human organization, systems and archival data, with the responsibility to preserve information and provide services to specific organizations. Its reference model is to establish long-term preservation and access of digital information, and provide frameworks for the understanding of archival concepts and operations on archival documents.
