| 摘 要： | 在“齐桓公伐楚”这一历史事件中,楚国大夫屈完从容应对齐桓公的一番话语为人们所乐道。但对其话语中的“楚国方城以为城”之“方城”,自古及今,众说纷坛。章在列举诸家之说并进一步论证后,提出应从肖华锟先生之说：方城,春秋时期楚国所筑长城,北起今河南南召县,经今叶县、方城县、泌阳县境内,南至今唐河南。

| Abstract: | In the historical event of "Qihuangong's Attacking the State of Chu", Qu Wan, an official of Chu, faced Qi Huangong calmly. This was talked about with great relish. But different people have different understanding of "Fang Cheng" in "Fang Cheng in the State of Chu Should Be Regarded as the Great Wall" from ancient time till today. This article lists the different opinions and presents further proof, proposing that we should follow the idea of Mr.Xiao Huakun, Fang Cheng, the Great Wall built in the state of Chu during the Spring and Autumn Period, starts in the North from Nanzhao County of Henan Province of today, going through the Yexian County, Fang Cheng County, and Biyang County of today, ends in the south in Tanghe County of today. |
