五祖拳创始人蔡玉明的生世考察

为了正本清源,厘清五祖拳的历史源流。通过田野调查挖掘了《玉塘蔡氏家谱》的资料,参考各流派的说法,就蔡玉明的籍贯,名字,外号,生卒年月,考秀才史实及时间等各种说法用比较法,反证法,归纳法作了深入的研究。结果表明：五祖拳创始人蔡玉明是现晋江市灵源街道英塘社区（蔡厝）人氏;其姓名是蔡玉明而非蔡玉鸣;蔡玉明生于清咸丰葵丑年（1853年农历十二月三十日）,卒于宣统庚戌年（1910年农历正月初九日）,享年57岁;蔡玉明于1886年,33岁时考取晋江县学,文科秀才。

The Five Ancestor Boxing Founder Cai Yuming's Life Origin Study

Here is to clarify the history of Five Ancestor Boxing and get to its root. Through the means of field survey to study the ＂YuTong Chua＇s Genealogy＂ and referenee to the relevant school＇s research, I attempt to examine Cai Yuming＇s birth place, names, nicknames, llfe and death date, and his scholar entrance test. To make it authentic ,I employ the methodology comparison,apagoge and induction. The study indicates that Five Aneestor Boxing founder Caiyuming was born in Yingtang community, Lingyuan Street, Jinjiang town by its present address on the Dee. 30th 1853 lunar calendar, and he died on the Jan. 9th 1910 lunar calendar; In 1886, he obtained his humanity scholar fide Xiueai in Jinjiang county school when he was 33 years old.
