| Abstract: | The rhetorical question mark word ＂hua qi＂ （话起）in N ankang Hakka is extended from the verbs ＂yan shuo＂ （言说）. It is usually in a repeat specific echo asked context, expressing＂ negative, unexpected, suspected ＂ meanings, with wider use of rhetorical question mark word than rhetorical question mark word＂ nan dao＂ （难道）. |
