摘    要:大学英语通识教育化转向不仅是个新课题,当下也正日益成为学界关注的问题。将英语教学置于通识教育大背景下,培养学生英语语言能力的同时,通过教授人文知识、传播国际文化,深化学生思想观点表达的内容和深度,有助于目前大学生英语学习中"文化失语症"现象的逐步解决,亦成为大学英语教学发展的新路径。以英语为教学语言推广通识教育,有利于培养学生创新能力,亦可为国际化背景下创新人才培养提供空间与平台。

Abstract:The idea that college English teaching may combine with general education in China under the subject-centered method is lately put forward by some scholars.Placing English teaching under the big background of general education,we can cultivate students’ English language proficiency as well as deepen the content and depth of their expression of thoughts and ideas by teaching humane knowledge and transferring international cultures.This helps with the step-by-step solution of the situation of current cultural aphasia in college students’ English learning process.It also broadens the talent cultivation.It will probably be an important turning point of the teaching of college English in China.
