浅谈开放大学教师应具备的能力

开放大学教师从事的是终身教育的工作,因而教师应具备的素质也有其职业特点,教师不再是一般意义上的教书匠,而是所任课程的建设者、开发者、研究者;教师不再仅仅是演员角色,而更多的是导演角色,是学生学习行为的帮助者、组织者和引导者;教师必须具备适合成人业余学习的教学方法;具备较高的教育技术水平,资源建设能力,良好的沟通能力以及更多的热心和耐心。

Analysis on the Abilities that Teachers in Open Universities should Possess

Jobs that Teachers in Open Universities engage in are lifelong education, therefore, the qualities that teachers should possess also have the professional characteristics. Teachers are no longer the teachers in general, but the builders, developers and researchers of the courses they teach; teachers no longer just play the role of actors, but whatls more, are the helpers, organizers and guider of the learning behaviours of the students. Teachers must grasp the teaching methods that are suitable for the adult amateur study, possess higher education technology, higher abilities of resources construction, good communication skills, more enthusiasm and patience. Refer to the abilities that Open University teachers should possess, this paper proposes some opinions.
