One as pect is on the style of painting color usage, that is： different color styles reached its own peak because of different social fashions and in different times; The other aspect is on the second color effect which caused by self-oxidation of color due to the age-old and a number of man-made factors. The paper aims to appreciate the complex and varied color structures through the different color styles of the formation of Dunhuang frescoes.
