Analysis of the Foundation Motivation and Values of the Promotion of Line Dance in the University

Using literature method, this paper describes the origin and development of line dancing, discusses and analyzes the foundation, motivation and value of the promotion of line dancing in the university. It is thought that the different style, rich content, dance step from simple to complex, technical difficulty from beginner to advanced have laid a solid foundation for the promotion of line dance in the university, and provided a rich learning resources. Style diversity and unity dance code, freedom of movement and wide adaptability become the power source of the promotion of line dance in the university. With the promotional value of fitness, heart health, aesthetic, lifelong e~xercise and so on, dance has a special role and significance in enriching public cultural and sports life, enhancing teamwork spirit, improving productivity and creating a harmonious society and so on.
