新生研讨课“气候变化与文明”课程建设探究

摘    要:“气候变化与文明”是以提高新生对科学的认知与研究能力为目标的新生研讨课,采用仿学术研讨会的小班教学模式,该教学模式把整个课程视为一次以气候变化与文明关系为主题的学术研讨会,分学生报告、讨论和教师点评3个环节展开研讨。两轮课堂教学实践表明,课程基本达到预期效果,采用该教学模式可实现研究能力教育的目标与载体之间的统一;兼顾科学研究能力培养与知识体系建构;规避科学专业性与新生知识结构薄弱的矛盾。

Study on the Construction of Climate Changes and Civilization Course in a Freshmen Seminar
Abstract:Climate Change and Civilizations is one of the freshmen seminar courses,which is aim to raise the students'consciousness and capabilities of study. The course has been designed to imitate the themes of climate change and civilizations in a small class and is divided into three sessions,like doing a report by students,discussion and judged by teachers. According to the two rounds of class teaching practices, the course has achieved its previous aims. Moreover,this kind of teaching mode can unify the goal of scientific research education and the teaching resources;give consideration to the scientific capacity training and sys-temic knowledge construction;and ease the shortage of the students'knowledge structure to meet the needs of scientific profession.
