汉武帝对西汉小说影响考论

汉武帝时期是西汉小说的繁荣期。《虞初周说》作于元封元年至征和四年,《封禅方说》作于元鼎四年至元封元年。武帝前小说以记地理、历史方面的奇闻轶事为主,武帝时小说以谈神仙术和封禅术为主。变化原因在于:一是小说家的方士与待诏身份,使其为干禄迎合武帝艺术趣味而创作;二是武帝求仙与治国的阅读需求,引导了小说的内容。可见,在古代等级社会下,影响文学发展的因素有多种,而帝王凭权力优势影响文学,是其中一个重要原因。

The Influence of Emperor Liu Che on the Fiction Creation in the Western Han Dynasty

In the Western Han Dynasty,the fiction creation was the most prosperous in the reign of Emperor Liu Che.The novels before his reign were chiefly anecdotes about geography and history;the novels in his reign were chiefly about the supernatural being and the offering of sacrifices to heaven and earth of Mountain Taishan.The causes for the creation change are that the novelists wrote to cater to the Emperor's artistic taste,and the need of reading of the Emperor's seeking for god's protection and ruling of the state led to the content of novels.In the hierarchical society of the ancient times,there were many factors to affect the liternary development,and the Emperor's power and artistic taste were one of them.
