2005:中国的“科举年”

在1300年中国科举史上,科举制在绝大多数时间里是适应当时的时代和社会的,科举制的终结是当时特定社会历史条件下的必然。重新认识科举制,并不是主张恢复科举制,而是要还科举制的本来面目,还其在中国历史上应有的地位。2005年标志着中国科举学的新纪元,科举学将成为一个长期的研究热点。

The Year of 2005: New Era of Study of Chinese Imperial Examination

With a 1300-year history, the Chinese Imperial Examinations System adapted to the social and historical conditions most of the time. And the abolition of it was inevitable under that specific social and historical conditions. Restudying and understanding the Imperial Examination System is not to advocate restoring Imperial Examination System, but to return the original appearance of it and the status which it should have in the Chinese history. 2005 was the new era symbolizing the study of Chinese Imperial Examinations. And the study of Chinese Imperial Examinations,will become a long-range hot spot in the research.
