The French Lieutenant's Woman is one of the most successful works of John Fowles and his unique narrative style and techniques have not only influenced many later young novelists but also made enormous contributions to British novels.Hence,this paper,from the perspective of postmodernism,explores the postmodern feature,indeterminacy,as reflected in the interpretation of three main figures of the novel.
