理工科大学人文社会科学发展战略探讨

Humanities and Social Science Development Strategy in Universities of Science and Technology

Offering liberal arts subjects in a science-oriented college is an important and also a tantalizing pro-ject.From the essence,ideas and views of education,the paper holds that liberal arts development is not to be considered a separate matter,but rather a goal to be aspired by the school in a long run.Understanding the sig-nificance of the convergence of humanistic and scientific education,we should uphold humanistic spirit,enrich cultural deposits,shape our university soul,which is the ultimate goal.
