| Abstract: | The Proverbs of State of Yue is a work by Fan Yin of Qing Dynasty about the words and proverbs in the dialect of State of Yue. It takes recording of the oral popular saings as its purpose, and has a large amount of account of words, enigmatic folk similes, fixed expressions and proverbs in the dialect of State of Yue. It is a kind of important contemporary linguistic data of understanding Yue Dialect and Yue Culture. |
