中国教学型大学的特征

教学型大学是指以本科教育为主体的全日制大学。它以招收本科层次的学生为主体，主要履行人才培养和教育教学研究的职能，培养高水平技能型人才（即高级专门人才）和高级研究型后备人才。拥有学士学位授予权和少量的硕士学位授予权，可招收一定数量的专科生。与研究型大学相比，我国的教学型大学具有自己鲜明的个性特征，突出表现在：以本科教育为主体；主要承担高等教育大众化的任务；社会适应性强；重视复合型人才的培养；区域化优势明显；办学效益显著。
