| 摘 要： | 19世纪以来,美国通识教育理念经历了从服务于专业学习到服务于个体的全面发展、再到服务于社会的全面进步。与此相应,美国高校的通识教育课程,也经历了五个阶段的明显变革。美国通识教育的理念与课程设置的变迁,对我国高校实行专业教育改革具有积极的借鉴意义。

| Abstract: | Since the 19th century,the idea of American general education has undergone three major changes: serving the purpose of professional training;for individual development;and for the all-round progress of the society.Correspondingly,the curriculum of the general education has experienced obvious changes in five stages.These changes have provided valuable reference for the reform of higher education in China. |
