美国大学体育教师绩效评价的研究及启示--以休斯顿大学和密歇根大学为例

摘    要:运用实地调研、文献资料查阅、逻辑分析对比等研究方法,对美国休斯顿大学运动与健康教育学院和密歇根大学运动科学学院,大学体育教师绩效评价模式、评价标准、评价指标、评价方法、评价程序、评价结果的使用等进行了分析。研究认为:美国大学严谨和规范的大学体育教师绩效评价体系,对保证大学体育师资质量及教学质量、促进大学体育教师职业发展,发挥了重要的作用,而我国高校在此方面尚属薄弱。学习、借鉴美国大学体育教师绩效评价的经验,对构建促进我国大学体育教师自主发展的科学性、多元化绩效评价体系,具有一定的启示。

Performance Evaluation of P. E. Teachers in American Universities and Its Enlightenment---Take Houston University and Michigan University as Examples
Abstract:Through Field research document analysis and theoretical analysis, this paper analyzves the characteristics, contents and methods, index and the use of results of PE teachers' performance evaluation in the Sport and Health College of the University of Houston and the Sport Science College of the University of Michigan. Case studies show that their strict and standard evalution systems play a key role in maintaining a strong teaching staff, improving teaching and researching and pomoting teachers' career develment. The strict and standard PE teacher performance evaluation in American universities has played a significant role in guaranteeing the quality of teachers and teaching and promoting teachers’ development. China is still at the initial stage of adop-ting such an assessment system. Therefore, we should learn from American universities in terms of concepts, procedures, meth-ods, indices , contents and results of such appraisal so as to promote the scientific development of Chinese university PE teachers and establish a multiple system of performance appraisal.
