英语专业四级语音水平分析

本文从音素发音、语流中的弱读、连读和不完全爆破等四个方面调查分析了英语专业二年级学生在专业英语四级口试中的语音水平。调查结果表明:1)学生的口语水平越高,他们的音素发音正确率也越高,低分段学生的音素发音中存在一些比较严重的错误;2)口试成绩最好和最差的学生,他们在弱读、连读和不完全爆破等方面的表现也分别为最好和最差,而4分段、3分段和2分段等中间学生在这些方面的表现与其成绩相关性不高;3)在四个被调查的因素中,音素发音正确率最高,其次依次为不完全爆破、弱读和连读。

An Analysis of English Majors' Pronunciation Ability in TEM- 4

The study investigated and analyzed English majors' pronunciation ability in Spoken English Test in TEM-4 by examining four aspects of phoneme pronunciation,the use of weak forms,linking and deplosives.The following results were found: 1) the higher students' final scores,the higher their accuracy rate of phoneme pronunciation,and there were some serious phoneme pronunciation errors in the lower-scorers;2) the best and the poorest students' correct rates in the use of weak forms,linking and deplosives correlate with their final scores while the other three groups in the middle did not have such correlations;3) among the four aspects,the rate of correct phoneme pronunciation was listed on the top which was followed in turn by deplosives,weak forms and linking.
