洋务派是中国近代最早的全面系统地接触近代科学技术的一个政治派别。他们在洋务运动的“实践”中形成的近代科技观，承认近代中国“技不如人”，认为近代科技是国家富强之本，主张全面仿效和学习西方近代科技，是实用主义的科技观。这直接关系列西方近代科学技术在中国的传播和发展，对中国近代民族资本主义和民族工业的发展产生了深远的影响。

Viewpoints on modern science and technology of the advocates of the westernization

: Advocates of the westernization movement was the first political school that touched modern science and technology comprehensively and systematically in China . Through the practice in the movement, they formed their practical viewpoints on modern science and technology. From the viewpoints,we knew that they admitted that modern science and technology of our country was not better than that of other countries .They thought that modern science and technology was the base of a country for being prosperous and strong. Therefore, they advocated imitating and learning from the modern science and technology in the west comprehensively. The viewpoints were directly related with its spread and development in China. It affected the development of modern Chinese national capitalism and national industry profoundly.
