| 摘 要： | 科研是探索客观世界获取科学知识的活动,科普则是传播普及科学知识的过程,科研和科普是植物园重要的两种功能。以英国皇家邱植物园和爱丁堡植物园为例,阐述如何将科研与科普有效结合促进公众科学素养提高,以及对我国科学植物园建设的借鉴作用。

| Abstract: | Scientific research is the activity of exploring the natural world for scientific knowledge.Scientific popularization is the activity of spreading scientific knowledge.Botanical Garden is an institution,which can combine scientific research and scientific popularization together.In this paper,we introduce the scientific researches and public educations at the Royal Botanic Gardens,Kew and the Royal Botanic Gardens,Edinburgh in UK.Both botanical gardens effectively combine research and popularization and contribute significantly to the improvement of public scientific literacy. |
