| 摘 要： | 在各种语言中，修辞格作为一种独特的表达方法有着不可替代的地位。它既体现了一种语言的精髓，同时也反映了孕育于某种语言中的文化特征。因此，为了在翻译中巧妙地再现原作的艺术效果，生动、鲜明、准确、自然地表达原文语义，尤其在文学翻译中，就要在原则许可范围内对原作进行艺术加工。这种语义的艺术引申是翻译中的一种重要技巧，在英汉互译修辞时，恰当使用这种技巧有时甚至可以在局部效果上超过原作。
