| Abstract: | The act of bidding farewell in our daily life is extremely common, that is demonstrated in a variety of ways and with richly strategic means. It is of significance for us to understand and command the techniques of bidding farewell so as to improve our language competence and communicative skills, even to reinforce the social ties between the both parties who engage in the conversation. |
