Love is a Fallacy is a classical article in English teaching,it is also an informal essay illustrating the important role of fallacy analysis in daily life.Analyzing this article from the perspective of pragmatic conversational theory or new dialectic-an important method in informal logic,we can see the universality of this theory in daily life and its function in closing the relation between logic and life.This article involves five types of dialogue: persuasion,information-seeking,negotiation,pedagogy and quarrel.The various dialogue types helps to reflect the subtle relation among characters,push forward the dramatic development of the story,and add variety to the language and mood of the story.
