| Abstract: | In contemporary Chinese the character "Yi" is frequently used as preposition or conjunction.When used as preposition ,it is mainly used before a predicate to introduce the manner,means,tool,object as well as the way of verb that indicating an action,and its use in sentence can be classified into three types and six subtypes.When used as conjunction,it is frequently used to draw forth the purpose of action. It can also be used as an element to construct a word or phrase in word formation. |
