英汉称谓语对比与翻译

语言是文化的载体，文化是语言的内涵。广泛应用于各种社交场合和文学作品中的称谓语也会因为文化的不同而体现出很大的差异。探究英汉称谓语的差异及其背后存在的各种原因，能够使得在称谓语翻译过程中知己知彼，正确对付。本文通过对英汉称谓语的定义、分类、差异及原因等方面的介绍与研究，重点分析了亲属称谓语和社交称谓语中存在的差异与原因，并针对所述差异，相应提出了在跨文化翻译中的应对策略。

The Contrast and Translation of English and Chinese Addressing Terms

Language is the carrier of culture and culture is the Connotation of Language. Addressing terms are widely used in social occasions and literary works. While, for different cultures, Chinese and English addressing terms are quite different from each other. To explore the differences of addressing terms and the cultural factors would make us informed of both languages and cultures. And it is very useful for international translation. This paper gives clear explanations of the definition, classification of addressing term and focuses on the differences and the cultural factors in kinship terms and social terms. On the basis of the explanations, it comes up with some strategies to promote the practice of translation and cross-cultural communication.
