Study on Status and Strategy of High School Music Education in Fujian Province——A Survey on Status of High School Music Education in Fuzhou

In order to understand status and problems of music education in Fujian province, the author investigates status of music education in Fuzhou city by questionnaire survey, symposium and expert interview. By analyzing survey results on students＇ attitude, contents, methods of learning and appreciate orientation in high school A and high school B, we find that many problems exist, such as conveying and explaining the philosophy and thoughts of new courses are not to the point, understanding the reform of courses is not in place, and paying less attention to the music courses. So it is necessary to increase investment in music education and protect high school students＇ music education rights for improving quality of music education and level of music teaching. In addition, govern- ments and departments of education at all levels should focus on adjusting the allocation of educational resources.
