| Abstract: | This paper introduces the award situation of the athletes who win in the Athens Olympics in the USA,Russia,South Korea,Japan.It mainly introduces the new features of China's award policy for the Athens Olympics,the foundation of China's award policy for the Olympics,and the methods of adjusting the material award for the Olympics.By leading into the concepts of award relative strength and absolute strength,and based on the coparative study,this paper puts forwards that the material award for the Olympic champion shows the rule:The country which have a low average GDP has a high award relative strength.Finally,we conclude that:With each country pays more attention to the Olympics,the awards for the athletes who win in the Olympics have a growing trend.Meanwhile,we forecast that China will continue increasing its national material awards in 2008,and the amount of award for the Olympic champion may grow to 300,000 yuan. |
