| Abstract: | The paper introduces "The Involvement Load Hypothesis",a cognitive construct proposed by Laufer and Hulstijn,and the paper also lists some empirical results to prove the feasibility of the theory.The interpretation of the theory with the psycholinguistic perspective and its implications to vocabulary learning are also discussed. |
