民国时期无锡社会教育对基层电大开展社区教育的启示

20世纪20年代之后,为提高人口素质,挽救衰败的经济,以俞庆棠、高阳为代表的一批知识分子,在无锡创立江苏省立教育学院,建立了多个民众教育实验区,发起成立中国社会教育社,开展社会教育实践和理论研究,对当时的中国影响很大,形成了民众教育的"无锡模式"。无锡也成为江苏社会教育的策源地。当前,基层电大是地方推进社会教育最可依赖的中坚力量,民国时期的无锡社会教育在师资建设、科学研究、教育实践等多方面值得基层电大学习和借鉴。

Social Education in Wuxi during the Republic of China Period and Its Inspiration to Community Education of Local TV University Today

In 1920s, a group of intellectuals represented by Yu Qingtang and Gao Yang founded Jiangsu Provincial Education College in Wuxi to improve population quality and to save the faltering economy. They established several public education experimental areas, sponsored Chinese association of social education and carried out social education practice and theory research, which had a great influence at that time of China and formed a ＂Wuxi Pattern＂ in public education.. Wuxi also became the source of Jiangsu social education. At present, local TV university has become reliable hard core in promoting modern social education. The experiences of teachers construction, scientific research and educational practice of the social education during the Republic time may deserve as a reference for today＇s local TV universities.
