马年我们一起说说“horse（马）”

自古以来,马就是人类忠实的朋友。2014进入中国农历马年,关于马的话题更是如雨后春笋般出现。文章采用对比研究的方法,从与马有关的历史渊源、各种英文表达、英语词汇、习语谚语及歇后语、现代汽车车标中的马文化、中西方马文化差异及其原因等七个方面详细分析了horse（马）的前世今生,从而更好地促进文化交流与学习。

Discussion on Horse in the Year of Horse

Horse is a loyal friend of mankind since ancient times. In 2014, we enter the Chinese Lunar Year of the Horse, and the topics of the horse have spring up. This paper, by using methods of comparative study,analyzes the past and present lives of horse from seven aspects including history related to the horse, a variety of English expressions, vocabularies, idioms, proverbs and twisters, horse culture in car logoes, and cultural differences and their causes between Western horse culture and Chinese house culture, so that we can better promote cultural communication and learning.
