| Abstract: | In his essay Sun Guo ting was sufficiently sure that calligraphy had its social use and artistic function,He deeply revealed the artistic character of calligraphy ,the author showed his extraordinary thoughts about aesthetics and his unusual views on art.SGT insisted the view of development,He objected a calligrapher was restrained by the ancients on the relation between inheritance and creation He raised that one should learn from the ancients but not disobey his times, obey his times but divide himself from his times' disadvantages.The essay is full of dialectical thoughts.SGT made use of the dialectics of art successfully in his book. |
