This paper discusses the esthetic interest of the Chinese ancient literary theories from the angle of Chinese main current culture The writer thinks that the Chinese ancient literary criticism theories which differ from popularization, plebification and secularization, are full of the interest of spiritual aristocrat obviously. They present compound trend of advocating personality will, natural rules and a state of quietness and passivity. As far as the esthetic psychology is concerned, both masculine Confucian school and graceful Taoism school extremely reject the content of perception. Their esthetic pursuits defend the value of life and nourish the life missing.
