| 摘 要： | 鸦片战争时期清政府坚持的怀柔外交思想是一种没落的封建君主专制思想。它反映了历史大转折年代清朝执政者的世界观和处理国际关系的基本指导思想。在当时起到了闭塞视听、启辱招侮的恶劣作用，是清政府在战争指导和决策上发生失误的根本原因。

| Abstract: | The appeasement diplomatic policy of Qing Dynasty in Opium War era is a sinking autocratic thinking from feudal monarchs, which not only reflects the world outlook and basic guiding ideology of the rulers in dealing with international relationship at historical turning point, and also has an effect of blocking the international information out of China and leading the country to insult. So it is the root cause of the failure of Qing Dynasty. |
