| 摘 要： | 建设特色数据库是西部图书馆开发利用特色馆藏的重要手段，也是建设数字化图书馆的重要内容。本文从西部图书馆特色数据库建设总体状况、建设目标、运营方式、检索质量等方面进行了系统分析，并对今后的发展提出一些建议。

| Abstract: | Building featured database is an important measure for the Western libraries to develop and utilize their featured resource.It's also an important content of building the digital libraries.This paper does a systematic analysis to the collectivity,goal,managing mode and retrieval quality of the Western libraries' featured database.Finally,we put forward a proposal to develop them in the future. |
